Storm water stations are used to protect areas from flooding by pumping large volumes of water and thereby preventing the occurrence of flooding. Many cities and municipalities are located on or near bodies of water, creating a need for large, reliable pumping systems capable of handling large volumes of water. Reliability should be the main parameter when designing a storm water installation. Pumps that are completely reliable should be utilized together with a sound station design.
