A pressure sewage system (PSS) consists of collection tanks often located at individual house- holds utilizing grinder pumps that effectively reduce solids to slurry. Several collection tanks and discharge lines are connected to build a pressure sewage network.
For more remote housing areas this is a smart and economical alternative.  Pressure sewage systems use small discharge lines, and are laid in shallow narrow trenches that follow the natural contour of the ground.
