SECAD is a drawing tool delivered as a comprehensive software package developed and produced by Flygt. It is mainly intended to be used by persons involved in the design and drafting of sewage and storm water facilities, such as application engineers, designers, planners, constructors, etc.
This software package greatly simplifies and automates design work providing automatic generation of conceptual drawings of facilities with permanent installations and application drawings, incorporating Flygt and Sanitaire products.
The SECAD package consists of two main functions:
• Facility design modules consist of eight different design modules: AutoSump TOP/Insert TOP Bottoms/Compit, AutoSump Midrange, AutoSump CP Large, AutoSump CT Large, AutoSump PL/LL, AutoMix and Aeration. These modules are separate design programs tailored for different products, based on product specific input. Selecting the construction’s base form and product information, such as model number, design flow, NPSH etc, SECAD designs and draws a customized conceptual application and installation drawing for the specified equipment.
• Dimensional drawings is a product drawing database. It is provided to enable the user to retrieve the correct product image as well as its outline dimensional data. The image, consisting of up to three views (side view, top view, and front view), can be used for insertion into any AutoCAD drawing. Complete and correctly scaled outline dimensional drawings for the majority of Flygt and Sanitaire products are accessible.
